At the heart of the city centre, The fortress is built on a rock (yes, on an actual rock), and dominates the Royal Mile.
Inside the arena, a few interesting things are to be noticed. The One O'Clock Gun is fired daily at 13:00, and can easily be heard in a 2 miles radius from the Castle.
The castle itself is filled with historical references, and items.
