About Edinburgh

Edinburg is the capital and second largest city in Scotland. It is famous for its magnificent architecture (the Old Town and New Town of Edinburgh are on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites), its history and particularly its role in the Enlightenment movement in the 18th century, and the annual Edinburgh Festival (August), which gathers many official and independent festivals. Consequently, Edinburgh is a city that perfectly combines history and modernity.

Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland, but is the second largest city in Scotland after Glasgow. Edinburgh is an awesome place to be living in. It is gifted with an interesting geographical Landscape. The city centre is delimited by two hills (Arthur's seat and Calton hill) and the North Sea. It hosts a few interesting touristical attractions, and the locals are very nice, in spite of all the bad things you might have heard about Scotsmen.
