Paoy Pet is interressant for one thing and one thing only : it's the closest you will ever get to hell on hearth. However if you want to get from Siem Rep to Bangkok without flying Poipet is the only solution. The bus drop you at one end of the border. The driver takes your ticket and give you a little color sticker. Then you have to queue to pass custom. This is just gone a take forever (while you are reading this I am probably stll in the line), the heat is unsustainable and the city is cover in dust.If you have made it threw the border you can try to find back the rest of the passengers of your bus. Even if you have a ticket to Bangkok you can not be sure that there will be a bus waiting from you. If you don't have a ticket... ... well it is like trying to find your way out of hell. The taxis are very expensive and sometime fake and the bus all full and rare.
