I wish I lived in this city ... Brisbane is nothing like Sydney or Melbourne. There, it felt very easy to walk between two places and we did not need to rent a car to visit around.

Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland, it is in the middle of the Gold Coast and the Sunshine cost. it offers all the advantages of a big city but with a constant nice weather and cool temperatures during the entire year. There is not much to see in this city but it is a nice stop to enjoy the night life of a city, go shopping, It is a good occasion to discover the australian way of life Make sure to spend a couple days there to enjoy the things to see, to take a night out.

Interseting City full of interesting people. The real reason I went to Queensland in the first place was to pay Homage to my Child Hood Hero Steve Irwin. I ended up meet a lot of great people in the Hostel I was staying in. If you're looking for a great local "bar" with cheap food search out the Fox Hotel, greatest party on a Sunday Night. The city itself is full of beautiful architecture and even a man made lake for swimming.

Although I had change to stay in Brisbane 2 nights, I still had change to see something as the center are is still quite small. There are beach in the center of city, park and this water park that have nice fountains.

A beautiful vibrating city with a beautiful skyline! It is multicultural, dazzling at night and did a great job at mixing old and new. You can walk through a forest of skyscrapers and next moment you are standing right in front of a old little church. Much better atmosphere than Sydney in my opinion. Great place but without Sydney's attitude.

Brisbane or Brissi as the locals say is probably the most laid back metropolis i've ever seen. It's australias fastest growing city and it's everything but not boring! Brissi is blessed with sunshine all around the year. Catch a ferry to cross brisbane river to relax at brisbanes fake beach or go shopping in the cosmopolitan CBD before you head out to one of the many bars.
