About Munich

The main city of Bavaria, Munich is the third largest city in Germany (after Berlin and Hamburg) with about 1.35 million people. It is located on the River Isar, north of the Bavarian Alps. This area is very famous for its wonderful mountain and lake landscapes, which turn it into a great destination for green tourism and hiking. But the region is also blessed with a great cultural inheritance.

We were not actually staying in Munchen, we met up with two of our friends from Iceland and stayed with them in a trailerpark! That was such a nice time meeting our friends and getting the chance to travel a little bit with them :)
