About Paris

Despite its capital role in France and in the world, Paris has managed to remain a city of human dimension. Culturally speaking, the capital is very rich thanks to its neighborhoods’ diversity: Montmartre, a picturesque and perched village, the Marais and its effervescence, the Place de Concord, always sparkling, the huge avenue of the Champs Elysées, constantly swarming with people, the trendy areas of La Bastille and Abbesses, without forgetting about the charming Seine banks, especially flood

The Tribe's opinion
I love Paris. Amazing food, beautiful architecture, impeccable style, fascinating museums, and looks (arguably) even better in the rain! We stayed with a Parisian friend of my mine, which was a nice respite from hostel-bunk beds for us. Paris is another city which is great to walk around. A friend of mine made an interesting point the other day about the aesthetic of Paris, which I think reflects a main difference between European cities and cities in the US. Paris doesn't really have a skyline. You don't walk through the city searching for that perfect view of the city itself, like you might in the US. It's the type of city where you admire the beauty AS you walk through it, Not to say that there aren't great view points in the Paris, or to discredit that feeling of admiring a beautiful city scape. It's just different, and it's one of the things I love about Paris. That even random side streets are well, just damn pretty.

Paris, capital of France, a lot of people say it is the most beautiful city in the world... If we forget the sounds of cars and pollution... why not? Famous for its incredible number of monuments, some of them are unavoidable (most of them in the city center) but Paris has also a lot of unfamous jewels. It is also and definitly a cultural city, we can't visit Paris without visiting an hundred of museums and going to independant cinemas and bookstores. Paris is also very huge. in function of where you are, how long you stay, you have to make a selection... There are my advices, district by district The prices I write indicate the total you need to pay if you do everything (for one adult, without reduction or pass).
