About Simanindo

Lake Toba is the largest volcanic lake in the world and there is an island in the middle of it which name is Samosir. On this island, the place where most backpackers end up going is called Tuk tuk, where you can find cheap / nice accommodation. Most backpackers come here because the lake and its surroundings are indeed beautiful, but also because this is one of the only place in Indonesia where there is no police and where drugs (magic mushrooms, weed, etc...) are sold in every shop/restaurant (remember that in Indonesia you can get life in jail if you get caught with even a little bit of Marijuana... but this place is advertised as a safe haven).
