With the big buildings starting to rise in front of the beach side, it will not be long before Nha Trang loses its charms… Yes, the water is cristal clear (unless it was raining the day before) and it is enjoyable chill and do nothing for once… but the “spoiled by tourism” locals, the many drunken tourists, and the noise of the jet-skies all day long can be a little bit annoying. Renting a motorbike and driving south is a good idea as the beaches are still deserted and the countryside behind them is beautiful… but hurry up as huge resorts are under construction.

User's opinion
Just rent a motorbike and drive south on the road that stays close to the sea. Just before you arrive at Cam Ranh airport, you will see some small dirt roads which goes toward the sea. Take one of this road and you will arrive on the 4 kilometers long deserted beach. Hurry as at the time I was there, they were already starting to build huge resorts.
