About Mandalay

It is the second biggest city of Myanmar, and it is where you will find the royal palace (which is basically a huge walled city surrendered by a moat). If Mandalay has plenty to offer, you also have a lot to do around the city and I strongly recommend that you rent a motorbike to discover the countryside!

In Rangoon, the place to buy your bus tickets to Mandalay is close to the train station. They are hard sellers (bargain!) Don't trust these guys to bring you to the bus station! Go by taxi!
