New Zealands largest city and a great place to start the journey. Everything is in walking distance and you'll meet plenty of other backpackers. You'll notice that the kiwis are adrenalin junkies. You can jump from the Sky Tower in Aucklands CBD, New Zealands highest building and a Bungy Jump is located under a Bridge.

Flight from Sydney to Auckland. I booked a hop on hop off bus for NZ (Magic Bus). 420$ for both islands.
