Step 13/18: Philippines - Baguio

About Baguio

Baguio is a place enjoyed by a lot of Manila's inhabitants. If you go there during the week end try to book your guesthouse in advance or plan some times to avoid rushing into the first one that will offer you a room. After the calm of the Cordillera I felt I was back into the real life, into a very modern and busy city. The karaoke are omnipresent, especially at night ! The atmosphere is really pleasant, with markets and street food everywhere, and a lot of opportunities to go out.

User's opinion
Basically a reproduction of the traditions of the tribes from the Cordillera. It is also a place for artists to express themselves. When we arrived there some kids were doing a demonstration of local dances, and they decided to take us into it.
