About Esfahan

My favorite place in Iran called "Jewel of Persia". People always say that Esfahan is "half the world". One thing is sure: the city has nothing to be jealous of Athens or Rome. It's also a good place to extend its visa as it's often take 2 or 3 days and you will probably stay more than that in the city.

Tips & Tricks

  • Esfahan is a good place to buy carpets. the longer u stay, the better u bargain!
  • Eggplant soup is excellent, as the orange blossom icecream in rose water

Good if in a dormitory. Otherwise it could be considered as quite expensive compared to other cities. However it's the main backpakers base, so you might find answers to your questions!
