Step 3/7: Morocco - Fes

Fes photo by Simon Sabapathy

About Fes

Medieval capital of Morocco. The old city is massive and to be lost here is normal and quite the experience. Just remember that if you are heading uphill, you will most likely end up back at Bab Boujeloud, the main entrance.

Tombs outside the city of Fes. Offers a fantastic view of Fes outside from all it's craziness.

User's opinion
A visit to the tanneries (where leather is made) is a must when in Fes. You may have to tip a shop owner so you can view the tanneries from their back terrace.
