About Lembar

Lembar is not interesting at all. It is the first thing you'll probably see on Lombok, and also the worst. Don't waste time here except if you have to. We got stuck here for one night, and didn't find a hostel. We ended up sleeping in the house of a very nice indonesian guy. He saved our day !

We tried to go south of lembar using bemos. It wasn't worth it. It is very poor, and honestly there is not a lot to do. It is really of the beaten track though... and it is said to be very good spot for surfing.

How I got here ?

Price: 10 €

Traveling time: 8 hours

We got stuck in the boat because there was a problem. It usually takes only 5 hours (10km/h average) to get to lombok. Not the most confortable boat you could imagine....
